Fast fashion is very prominent in our world today... & it exists in the form of some of the most popular brands of clothing. Although we may not know it, many brands have indeed clothing items that are made through the process of fast fashion. If you don't already know, fast fashion is usually trendy clothing made at a fast rate due to high demand at low prices. This might sound appealing yet it consists of aspects such as child labor & paying people less than minimum wage to work in bad conditions.

The fashion industry is a rapidly growing one, allowing fast fashion to rise to popularity. At current rates, fast fashion is an industry growing larger than ever in our society. Teens and young adults everywhere are buying these brands, letting it continue to expand. Brands that are continuing to get recognition through fast fashion include Forever 21, H&M, Zara, and many others.

Not only is it ethically immoral, the materials used in making the clothing in fast fashion are detrimental to the environment. Unlike sustainable brands, fast fashion brands use many materials that fail to regard the consequences different substances have on the environment.
