Caroline Rector
Unfancy
Caroline Rector is the blogger behind unfancy.com who heavily supports the use of the capsule wardrobe. She even went a full year with a total of 37 pieces in her closet using her "mix and match and repeat" method. Even though her year-long capsule wardrobe experiment has ended, she maintains living by the concept of it; she retains a small number of clothing items while also making a variety of lookbooks that embody what a capsule wardrobe would. Rector says that living in this minimalistic way actually calms her; it reminds her that she "can be happy with a lot less". Her ideology embodies that having a simpler wardrobe allows her to better other areas of her life as well.

Andrea Hartman
Seasons + Salts
Blogger of Seasons + Salts, Andrea Hartman is an opinionated advocate not only for capsule wardrobes and sustainable brands but also against fast fashion. As she puts it, she continuously encourages others to "get off the fast fashion carousel" and to replace those clothing pieces with ones that support ethical fashion. Not only does she have a blog, Hartman also provides product reviews that typically compare products to one another based on ethicality of how it was made & style. Her idealistic envision for her closet is a simplistic one that consists of pieces that will last her long and that are versatile.

Maria Lee
Gold Zipper
Maria Lee is behind Gold Zipper, a blog that advocates for the importance of maintaining a closet that is simplistic rather than consuming a range of clothing that we do not need. Her belief in the capsule wardrobe as an effective way to transition people towards a more minimalistic lifestyle lies in the environmental and social effects of owning too much clothing. Like many other advocates for this issue, Lee took a role in supporting the cause visibly. She accomplished this by wearing a simple black dress for a month straight, styling it in a multitude of ways to argue that people don't need endless piles of clothing to show off their style; they can do it as easily with less than 37 pieces.
